Installing the ribbon cassette is a simple one-step process and thanks to a proximity chip, Zenius instantly identifies the ribbon type and configures all settings accordingly.

The Zenius Expert may be upgraded at a future time with user-installable field upgrade options such as magnetic stripe encoders, smart card encoding stations or NFC contactless card encoders.  The Zenius Expert ID printers may be ordered from the factory with magnetic stripe or smart card encoders already installed although additional mag or smart card encoders may be added at a future date.
