Zebra ZC KdO Ribbon – 700 prints

Zebra ZC series printers are designed to work only with Zebra Genuine Ribbons. This Zebra Ribbon (Color-KdO, 700 Images) is using Zebra Intelligent Technology to automatically detects and authenticates the ribbon. Ribbon are included in a simple-to-load cartridge and cleaning roller.

The unique door handle style grip leaves no question about how to remove or insert the ribbon. The snug-fit design has no play or adjacent open areas, so there’s never a question about whether the ribbon is installed correctly and in the proper place. And with embedded smartchips, you always know when to change the ribbon.

KdO Ribbon vs KrO Ribbon

KdO ribbons are made up of a black dye-sublimation (Kd) panel, and a thin protective overlay (O) panel. Black dye-sublimation provides full grayscale imaging and is used in printing text, artwork, or in applications that require a black and white photo. The protective overlay increases durability and fade resistance, extending the life of the card. You would use a KdO ribbon to print membership and ID cards that do not require a barcode.

KrO ribbons are preferred when printing readable barcodes, and crisp text. KrO ribbons consist of a black resin (Kr) panel, and a thin protective overlay that protect the card from wear, and fading. They are frequently used to print gift cards, loyalty cards, and membership cards.
